A personal Message from Jo
Firstly I would like to thank you for visiting my site. I hope that the information that you need to assist you is here.
I trained in hypnotherapy in 1997, through one to one training with a qualified hypnotherapist resulting in passing my Diploma in Holistic Hypnotherapy and have used it with clients for various problems since then . In 2001 I passed a course in Psychotherapy through the British School of Yoga (BSY) becoming a member of The Associated Stress Consultants. In 2004 I undertook an Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner course with the UK Academy receiving a Nationally Accredited Certificate from the NCFE and joined the Association of Neuro Linguistic Programming (ANLP). I became acquainted with EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques ~ Meridian based therapy) in 2003 and have used it successfully with clients during sessions when they have required it, I continue to develop specialisms within EFT. I completed a smoking cessation specialist course in 2005 and hold a lifetime smoking cessation specialist certificate.
I continue to develop my skills and expertise each year and I completed and passed an anxiety specialist course in early 2006 and have passed the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma by Portfolio. I have also recently passed my NLP Master Practitioner course.
I have recently qualified as a registered Ultra Depth® Practitioner, which includes taking clients to very deep levels of hypnosis including those required for general anaesthetic.
I like to use a mixture of all the therapies I have been taught for a Holistic approach, as I aim to treat the underlying causes of problems as well as the symptoms.
I am a registered member of The National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) , the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP) and a Registered Ultra Depth Practitioner. I adhere to each and all of the code of ethics.
